Brunswick, GA - On Tuesday, October 7th, the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation’s initiative, Under One Roof, was awarded $15,000 by Rich's Products Consumer Brands Division and the Davis Love Foundation to further its mission of helping local families facing housing insecurity.
The gift was part of a larger $103,000 in community grants presented to ten local nonprofits during a check presentation ceremony on Tuesday. Along with Under One Roof, recipients included St. Simons Land Trust, Marshes of Glynn Libraries, Hope 1312 Collective, Golden Isles Penguin Project, Oglethorpe Point Elementary School, Skylark, Golden Isles Youth Orchestra, New Roots Glynn, and the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber Foundation’s Reading Buddies program.
Under One Roof assists individuals and families who have lost their homes due to unexpected life changes or catastrophic events—such as fires, floods, or other crises that render their homes unsafe. Working through local nonprofit partners, the program provides timely, effective support for those most in need, with a focus on women, children, and others disproportionately affected by housing instability.
“This $15,000 grant will make a real difference for families in crisis,” said Keeva Kase, President and CEO of the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation. “We’re grateful to Rich's and the Davis Love Foundation for recognizing the importance of helping our neighbors find safety, stability, and hope.”
Together, the Davis Love Foundation, Rich's Products, and the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation continue to demonstrate how partnership can create lasting impact for families in need.
