Since launching in January 2023, 100 Men Who Give of Glynn County has become an inspiring model of local philanthropy—raising more than $160,000 in direct impact for local nonprofits and strengthening community awareness around critical needs across the region. In partnership with The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation (CCGF), 100 Men Who Give brings together men from all walks of life with a simple and powerful mission: 100 men giving $100 each quarter to support local nonprofit organizations through a quarterly competitive grant process.
Founded in 2023 by Kevin Udell, 100 Men Who Give was inspired by the giving circle model and the example of 100 Women Who Care SSI. Kevin’s leadership helped establish a group grounded in purpose, generosity, and action—shaped by a deeply personal legacy. Kevin’s daughter, Annie Udell, was known for her passion for helping others, especially children and those in need. After Annie’s tragic passing in April 2022 at the age of 23, Kevin made a promise to honor her heart for service by helping launch 100 Men Who Give as a catalyst for meaningful change in the community.
Over the past two years, the giving circle has supported a wide range of nonprofit partners and programs that strengthen families, empower youth, and provide critical resources across Coastal Georgia. Past grant recipients include FaithWorks Sparrows Nest, Habitat for Humanity, Safe Harbor Children and Family Services, and others serving vulnerable populations throughout the Golden Isles. More than $12,000 has been donated directly to organizations at events—bringing the group’s total giving to over $161,000 in direct impact to date.
As the organization looks to the future, the organization is proud to introduce Justin Callaway as the new President of 100 Men Who Give of Glynn County, building on the strong foundation Kevin created. Callaway serves as Senior Vice President of Finance at Marshland Credit Union in Brunswick, Georgia, and previously served as President and CEO of United Way of Coastal Georgia. A lifelong St. Simons Island resident, Justin remains deeply involved in the Golden Isles through leadership and service with organizations including St. Simons Land Trust, the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, and numerous community committees and initiatives. Justin and his wife, Sarah, are raising their three sons—Hunter, Chase, and Jack—right here in Coastal Georgia.
“Collective giving is a powerful way to bring people from all walks of life together to make meaningful investments in our community,” said Scott Steilen, President and CEO of Sea Island and 100 Men Who Give member. “What Kevin has inspired through this group is fantastic and we all look forward to Justin continuing the mission.”
With new leadership and strong momentum, 100 Men Who Give is committed to increasing quarterly impact, expanding membership, and growing a broader culture of philanthropy—honoring Annie Udell’s legacy while investing in the future of Coastal Georgia and building on its mission of meaningful, local impact.
