On Thursday, the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation presented the Glynn County Police Department with a grant to help purchase body cameras and other safety equipment.
The Glynn COPS (Community Organizing for Police Safety) program was launched in late 2015 through a generous matching grant from an anonymous local family foundation. The effort raised more than $53,000 in support for the county’s police officers.
