The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation is proud to offer scholarship opportunities made possible by generous donors who are investing in the future of students across our region. These scholarships support graduating seniors and current students as they pursue higher education, technical training, and career pathways that strengthen Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties.

The Christ Church Frederica ECW Scholarship for Women
A Post-Secondary Scholarship Program Offered to Female Students from Glynn or McIntosh County who are affiliated with the Episcopal Church. The Christ Church, Frederica Episcopal Church Women (ECW) Scholarship for Women will award a $3,000 ($1,500 per semester) academic scholarship to a female student who is either a high school senior and has been accepted to a US college, university, or technical school; or is currently attending a college, university or technical school and is in good standing. 

The application portal will open on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, and close on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The Halsey Family Scholarship for Music or Science

A Post-Secondary Scholarship Program offered to Students from Camden County, Georgia pursuing a bachelor's degree in either a Biological or Physical Science Field or pursuing a Music, Music Education, or Related Field. The Halsey Family Scholarship was established by John F. (Jack) Halsey, PhD, and Sandra M. (Sandy) Halsey in recognition of the noteworthy influence that both science and music education and research have had on their lives. The Halsey Family Scholarship awards up to four (4) academic semesters of support to undergraduate students beginning their first year of college, based on continued progress and academic achievement. The scholarship offers up to $2,000 per semester or a maximum of $4,000 per year.

The application portal will open on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, and close Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The Lowe/Ashmore Scholarship 

A Post-Secondary Scholarship Program offered to students from Glynn Academy pursuing a degree in a science-related field. Established through a generous gift from Kenneth E. Lowe in honor of his own educational journey and the legacy of his brother-in-law, George H. Ashmore, Jr., this scholarship supports students who are the first in their families to attend college and are pursuing studies in hard science or technical fields.

The application portal will open on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, and close on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
