2023 Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that applications for our 2023 College Scholarships open March 1, 2023.   All scholarship applications are due by 5:00pm on April 7, 2023.

Thanks to generous donors, The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation offers several scholarships each year that benefit students in Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties who are seeking post-secondary degrees. Available opportunities and links to the online applications are listed below.  An overview of each is provided below.  Detailed requirements for each are listed on the application. 

THE CHRIST CHURCH, FREDERICA EPISCOPAL CHURCH SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN

$2,500 - 1 YEAR

Awarded to a female student who is either a high school senior and has been accepted to a US college, university or technical school; or a student who is currently attending a college, university or technical school and is in good standing. The applicant must be of the Episcopal faith and hail from Glynn or McIntosh County.

2023 CCGF Scholarship Application - register a new account/as an individual

THE HALSEY FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP - $8,000 - 2 YEARS

A post-secondary scholarship offered to graduating seniors of Camden County High School, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in either a Biological or Physical Science Field or a Music, Music Education, or Music related Field.  The scholarship provides up to $2,000 per semester (maximum, $4,000 per year), which is paid directly to the post-secondary institution, to offset costs of tuition, fees, books, room & board. Any excess funds are distributed to the student through the institution’s student accounts services to pay for living expenses.

2023 CCGF Scholarship Application - register a new account/as an individual

THE CORRELL SCHOLARS PROGRAM - $20,000 (4 YEARS) OR $8,000 (2 YEARS)

The Correll Scholars Program provides an annual scholarship of $5,000 to students enrolled in a four-year academic degree program; or an annual scholarship of $4,000 to students enrolled in a two-year academic or technical degree program through one of Georgia's public colleges.  Applicants must be Glynn County high school seniors pursuing a degree at one of Georgia’s public universities, academic or technical colleges.  They must be active members of the Elizabeth F. Correll Teen Center/Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia or The Gathering Place with a mimimum 2.75 GPA.

2023 CCGF Scholarship Application - register a new account/as an individual

THE GLYNN ACADEMY CLASS OF 1969 SCHOLARSHIP - $2,500 - 1 YEAR

Available to a graduating a Glynn Academy senior who has been accepted to attend a Georgia academic college or university with a cumulative HOPE GPA between 2.70 and 2.99.  Applicant must be a good school citizen with no demerits, excellent attendance, and no failures; must demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular school and community activities and demonstrate financial need.
