We are pleased to announce that applications for our 2023 College Scholarships opened March 1, 2023.
All scholarship applications are due by 5:00pm on April 7, 2023.
Thanks to generous donors, The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation offers several scholarships each year that benefit students in Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties who are seeking post-secondary degrees. Available opportunities and links to the online applications are listed below. Please review the qualifications for each before determining whether to apply.

The Correll Scholars Program
Will award Glynn County high school graduates who are active members of the Elizabeth F. Correll Teen Center or The Gathering Place to pursue a four-year post-secondary degree @ $5,000/yr or a two-year technical or academic degree @ $4,000/yr through one of Georgia’s public academic or technical colleges. The program may award up to four new scholarships annually to students pursuing a four-year degree and up to two new scholarships annually to students pursuing a two-year degree. Support is based on continued progress and academic achievement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year recent attendance at either the Boys & Girls Club or The Gathering Place
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- 20 hours annual volunteer service
- Completion of the online application
The Christ Church, Frederica Episcopal Church Scholarship for Women
Will award a $2,500 academic scholarship to a female student who is either a high school senior and has been accepted to a US college, university, or technical school; or is currently attending a college, university or technical school and is in good standing. Support is based on continued progress and academic achievement.
Requirements:
- The applicant must be affiliated with an Episcopal Church
- The applicant must have a letter of recommendation from her Rector or Priest
- Applicant must a resident of either Glynn or McIntosh County
- Applicants will be evaluated on attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship and involvement in extracurricular activities
- Financial need
- Completion of the online application
The Glynn Academy Class of 1969 Scholarship
Will award a $2,500 academic scholarship to a graduating Glynn Academy senior who has been accepted to attend a Georgia academic college or university. Support is based on continued progress and academic achievement.
Requirements:
- Cumulative HOPE grade point average between a 2.70 and 2.99
- Financial need
- Excellent attendance
- Good academic standing with no failures
- No disciplinary action or infractions
- Active involvement in extracurricular school and community activities.
- Completion of the online application
The Halsey Family Scholarship
A Post-Secondary Scholarship Program will award two years of support @ $4,000/yr to two undergraduate students beginning their freshman year in college pursuing a bachelor's degree in either a Biological or Physical Science Field or a Music, Music Education, or related field. Support is based on continued progress and academic achievement.
Requirements:
- Graduating Senior from Camden High School
- Acceptance to an US accredited undergraduate institution
- Major in Science or Music
- Completion of the online application
