2024 Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that applications for our 2024 College Scholarships open Monday, January 15, 2024.   All scholarship applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Scholarship Announcements for the 2024 Award Year

The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation is pleased to announce that applications for our 2024 College Scholarships will open on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Thanks to generous donors, The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation (CCGF) offers four scholarships each year that benefit students in Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties who are seeking post-secondary degrees. Available opportunities are listed below. Students should review the full details for each scholarship on the CCGF website to determine their eligibility prior to applying. All scholarship applications must be completed and submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024.

 The Christ Church, Frederica Episcopal Church Scholarship for Women

Provides a $2,500 academic scholarship to a female student who is either a high school senior and has been accepted to a US college, university, or technical school; or is currently attending a college, university, or technical school and is in good academic standing. The applicant must be of the Episcopal faith and hail from Glynn or McIntosh County.

 The Correll Scholars Program

 Provides an annual scholarship of $5,000 to students enrolling in a four-year academic degree program or an annual scholarship of $4,000 to students enrolling in a two-year academic or technical degree program through one of Georgia's public universities, academic colleges, or technical colleges. Applicants must be a Glynn County high school senior and an active member of the Elizabeth F. Correll Teen Center/Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia or The Gathering Place with a minimum 2.75 GPA. 

The Glynn Academy Class of 1969 Scholarship

Provides a $2,500 academic scholarship to a graduating a Glynn Academy senior with a cumulative HOPE GPA between 2.70 and 2.99 who has been accepted to attend a Georgia academic college or university. Applicants must be good school citizens with no demerits, excellent attendance, and no failures. Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular and community activities and demonstrated financial need is also required.

The Halsey Family Scholarship

Provides up to $2,000 per semester for four semesters to graduating seniors of Camden County High School, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in either a Biological or Physical Science field or a Music, Music Education, or Music related field at a regionally accredited undergraduate institute in the United States.

Scholarship applications must be completed through the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation’s website: www.coastalgeorgiafoundation.org/grantmaking/scholarships. Based on recommendations from the Selection Committee, scholarship awardees will be notified in April 2024.
